    Wow. Overreact much?

Five hours of jackhammering, plus the subsequent repair costs, all charged to the taxpayer to avoid superstition.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

$50K in labor cost, for a jersey! I didn't think the Yankees were as bad as Red Sox Nation. THEM, I can see doing this, cuz they're GOOFY, but....
AND, it's a big news story, even getting talked about down HERE!!!
    I can't stop laughing!

The guy should have kept his mouth shut until it was too late to do anything about it.

Pretty silly, but the $50K or whatever has got them a boatload of free publicity that it would take millions to buy on the media. Not to mention it will rally the fans.

Publicity? It's the New York Yankees. I think everyone's heard of them.

Besides it wasn't their money, it was taxpayer money

Hank is an absolute nutjob. Any Yankees fans out there have to be terrified that that guy has the reigns of that team now.

The bidding for the jersey is upto $69.5k.
I'm predicting Dennis Leary as the winning bidder!:D
