Picked up this LP and been listening all weekend (btw, if you buy the LP, the CD comes with)....great stuff.

I'd say probably his best album since Soul's Core (which I still think is better) but this is a strong album. Meaning, I listen to it in it's entirety rather than picking one or two tracks and moving on.

Not only great music, but well recorded. CD is a bit hotter on the top end than the LP but both are excellent.

    Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be sure to snag this.

    I saw him while he was doing his 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor tour at a local radio station studio. It was just him and one other guy doing an acoustic set and they were amazing. Before that show all I knew of his was the way over-played Lullaby so I didn't give him near enough credit. He really is a great artist.

    got it on CD and love this CD, I am a long time Shawn Mullins fan and the album is very good. Shawn really has put out two great CDs in a row.

    if you ever get the chance go see him.

    I picked this up and I think it is a great CD. Nicely recorded and good tunes from one end to the other.
