"I gotta' start thinking about people who are having injustices done to 'em... like women and midgets and such." - Dewey Cox

The only other movie that made me laugh this hard recently was Death At A Funeral. Freakin' hilarious movie! Everyone in the cast just completely sold it, even during the Beatles scene (and dammit, Jack Black and Paul Rudd were killing me as McCartney and Lennon).

Funniest movie I've seen in awhile. A cliche of Walk the Line, but very well done. I need to see it again, since I think I watched the theatrical cut last night, not the unrated, though there were a couple of dickface moments in this version.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Now I know what you meant by dickface moments. Just that.

Hilarious movie. I loved it. I love Jenna Fischer too. I could easily watch that one again, and I am sure I will. Pretty goofy and cheesy at times, but it was funny.

ITNOTK is pretty up there as far as bad movies goes, but Walk Hard and the random dick shots just killed it for me.

Are there really that many dick shots in the movie ? As many as in SuperBad ? Even though I liked the movie, they went a little overboard in SuperBad .

In this movie, the dick shots are of real actual dicks.

The movie is a parody of Walk the Line and Ray combined with Dumb and Dumber. It's loaded with double entendres and gags from the musical eras covered (about 30 years). It's humor is aimed below the belt, but it's clever enough and offers some pretty amazing musical numbers. JC O'Reilly can really sing and really sells the musical styles of Cash, Roy Orbison, etc. Comedy and taste are subjective, but it sure gave me some giggles.

For some reason, I just loved the repeated moments where Tim Meadows introduces him to various drugs. They did a perfect parody of that scene from RAY, and Meadows sells the joke every time.

You guys should hear the interview John C Reilly and Jake Kastan did for NPR's "Fresh Air"....it was excellent.

Wasn't Jenna Fischer in this movie?
