SRS 2's and More

I have decided that I like my 2.3's enough that I am going to sell my SRS 2's. These are for local pickup only. These work fine but you can see that the cosmetics are not that great. It looks like someone had a candle on top of one of them and it left a dark mark. There are also a few other marks on the top of the other speaker. There is one badge missing but I think I have it here somewhere. The worst part is not visible. One of the bottoms got wet when my washing machine drain backed up. It has caused slight swelling and the veneer has peeled off some.
I replaced one tweeter that was not working when I bought them, and one driver that my son managed to blow up. There is no interconnect cable. I am located in Tyler Texas. It takes 1hr and 45 minutes to get to my house from downtown Dallas.
$350 picked up from my house.

I am also going to offer a few other speakers. These are also for local pickup only.
RT800i's for Sold to greg2350. These work great and look pretty good except on part of the front edge on one of them. The black vinyl has peeled off some and the wood is showing. Other than that they look good.
Norman Laboratories Model 10's. $150. These were pretty popular around here back in the early 80's. These are a great sounding 4 ohm speaker with 2 10 inch woofers and 2 tweeters. These are about 36 inches tall.
Paradigm 5seMk3's. sold locally. I will have to add pictures of these tomorrow. These are probably from the mid 80's and work great. There are just a couple of nicks on the top edge of the veneer. These stand about 32 inches tall and can be bi-amped. -
hey good luck with your sale.. nothing wrong with moving out some speakers and thinning things out a bit.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Those Norman's are some good speakers and have great cabinetry work. I haven't owned a pair in maybe 15 years or so but remember some great times with them! That's a reasonable deal on those SRS II's, too. I have a pair and love them. I had picked up a pair of SDS 2.3's that ended up going to my best friend for his 40's birthday and I had about a month and a half listening time with them from the stock point to rebuilt crossovers and 6 new RD0's. They sounded very good but I still preferred my SRS II's over them (or else he might have ended up with the SRS II's for his B'day...:D ).
Great speakers and good luck with your sale!Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner. -
