OK.......I am editing this post because I didn't read the forum rules prior to posting my SDA 1Cs for sale without the minimum number of posts.

Please excuse that mistake.

Everyone have a great day.

Ok....you've been a member here 3 1/2 years, you have 4 posts and you are selling something without a price listed. Hmmm....I can see the flames building up.

Well ................ my apologies to not understanding the rules of the forum. I certainly didn't mean to upset the apple cart.

Thanks to the poster who sent me a note via PM telling me that I should not have placed my speakers for sale on the forum without the minimum number of posts and without a price.

    Again, my apologies..............

    Please disregard the original post.

I just thought that a POLK member might be interested in getting a pair of nice SDA 1Cs. I enjoy to SDAs and wanted to see others who are vintage POLKies get first shot at them.

And to avguytx..........I appreciate your heads up regarding the flames.

OK............now I see. There is a "flea market" forum and I should have had 25 posts prior to selling something.

    Again, my apologies.

Looks like a nice pair of stock 1Cs. I'm sure someone would like them from the Club. We are just trying to police and protect ourselves with a few rules. I hope you get more active, sell them in the FM and someone here can enjoy them.

Yes Ron, they are stock........no mods. I fell in love with SDAs back in1990 when I bought my first pair. I have another pair with oak tops.

    Thanks for the help.

Come on, 16 more posts. I've seen people do that in one day to try to sell something.

And this is one of the rare times that it would be worth it.

You guys crack me up. LOL. I do want to sell them, but I don't want to tick the board members off just to do so.

There is just a 16 post limit correct? Does it say anything about you not being able to have the 16 posts in 1 day? :p

No doubt! just get in one of the famous "discussions" with candyliquor35m about his tweeter 'upgrade' and your post count will go through the roof. :o

    Interesting first post.

It's 25 posts and doing what you suggest is seriously frowned upon. In fact, it's the kiss of death.

I'd claim dibs, but I'm 100% sure I don't want whatever it is.

I'm not trying to sell anything. I'm getting my hands on some SDA IC towers in about 2 weeks. Friends parents bought them brand new and they have pretty much just sat for the whole time. So I joined to learn about them etc. I have since bought some monitor 4's and monitor 7's and two carver amps and a cs350 but i've got a bunch of other stereo speakers also. So I'm not looking to sell anything just buy :D

You can buy with only 1 post, just no selling yet.

SDA's require common ground amps and that also usually means you can't run bridged mono amps on them.

You should be fine then. When you mentioned 2 carvers, I was worried you were going to try to run them mono with the sda's, a big no-no.
