Highest bid was US$2,991+ and reserve still not met!!
Granted, it's an extremely early version, but not the earliest, of the title (only 3 other pop title come before this) and with the OBI strip. But US$3,000 for a CD??

The Pink Floyd CD in question was a Japan-made (by CBS/Sony) CD for the Japanese market. The Obi paper strip informs the Japanese consumers about the artist and the music on the CD. Yes, the Obi does add value to the CD, especially one from almost 25 years ago....and in such good condition. But $3,000 for a CD??
My previous post mentioned that this CD may not be the earliest version of this title despite its catalog number. An earlier version, if it exist at all, would be one with a gold-color on the label side of the CD. The seller of the CD in the link above mentioned the matrix number being "1A2", meaning the second batch of the first pressing, therefore I suspect that there's a "1A1" version out there.
