I'm not an iPod owner....my portable system consists of either a cassette Walkman (for that analog goodness
) or a portable CD player. However, I am definitely interested in this Wadia converter and may even buy an iPod. -
I'm curious as well. I'd like to set up some kind of music server so I can rip my discs onto a drive and have them available for both my 2 channel system and my house system for entertaining. So far I've been looking at the Duet and Squeezebox, this is another option I'd consider.Wristwatch--->Crisco

I've thought about this product ALOT but my biggest beef is that a 160gig iPod can't hold all my music in lossless format. If a consumer has over 400 CD's they're very limited. Ideally iPod would release a flash drive which could store an insane amount of music (300g or higher).

If you've already got an Ipod, it's 100% worth it... otherwise, just get a squeezebox.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

The I-TV does exactly this. It is not great for video, but perfect as an audio server according to reviews I recently read.My Main Gear

Quite a few iPod docks have vid out, but don't have onscreen menus. A couple have onscreen menus, BUT will not display video playlists. (you can still play the vids, just can't utilize user created playlists.)LR Setup:

I've seen it, heard it, and talked to the rep. I was very impressed withe the build and price but I don't have an Ipod (I bought a Disney MP3 player last week for $10 though) so I wasn't really that interested. Member Wardsweb (whose opinion I value) has one on his short list.Make it Funky!
