I picked up this preamp/phono stage dirt cheap. I was considering the Bellari or Cambridge 640 but the Yaqin was about $130 shipped so I couldn't resist. So far I'm real happy with it. Seems to match well with my Onix SP3 amp. I bought it specifically as a phono stage so I have yet to try it as a preamp.

Got any links to some info? I did a quick Google search, found E-bay links, but not a manufacturer or dealer site. Looks interesting, though.

The site for the dealer I bought mine from is Hi-Endon9mart.com. I'm not sure if their site will come up but you can link them through ebay. I bought mine on ebay. Grant Fidelity also sells a rebadged version.

    Thank you.

I ended up doing some more digging and found the site you got yours from, as well as some guys on Audiokarma and Vinyl Engine talking about Yaqin in general. The consensus was good sound for a great price; the phrase "built like a tank" came up a bit. It looks like they're also marketed under the brand Tonewin?

I'm not familiar with Tonewin. I'll have to check them out.

Congrats. I have a dealer who sell Yaqin products. Suppose to be one of the good stuff coming out of China (it's a real brand, not grey market). They also have a tube buffer that looks pretty neat for around $100.

We'll have to see how that stacks up against some of the other pre's up here someday.
You still gonna set us up for the Silver Ridge playday?
