Still contemplating an SVS SB 12+. However I went out and bought a Martin Logan Abyss at Tweeter. I like the Abyss. But I would like to know from you folks if I should still hold out for the SB12+. Opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

    I have a PB-12 Ultra/2 in Piano Gloss if you're interested.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

If you don't get the SVS you'll wish you had...Take my word for it. I bought a PSW650 some time back thinking it would suffice because I could "have it now". I always wondered how the SVS would have done. Now I know having acquired the Ultra. I'm very glad I waited on it. It really is a phenominal product.

IDK, the Abyss, by all accounts is a pretty decent sub and might stack up very well with the SB12+ for musicality...depending on the room you might not notice the output difference. Now Doro's sub is a different story.

Thanks for you input guys. I kind of like the fact that the Abyss can be set to down or front firing. It also has an LFE input which the SB12 lacks.

The two subs are in the same class.
