Any Marantz dealers here?

I just recieved a new Marantz VC-6001 universal player. It has very old firmware on it, and they have a firmware to address an issue I am having with it. But Marantz absolutely refuses to send it to me. They want me to send a one day old player to a service center for the simple update. I will not send it to be seviced, and risk a damaged player. I would rather just send it back for a refund if that's the case.

If anyone has a dealer log-in, and could send me the file, I really would appreciate it.
