I am so bored, its the weekend - and I got tired of hearing this horrible hissing noise from a over-shot sound from the center. My center is about 6-7 feet off the floor. So, I took 2 cd cases, and put one under each corner of the center! Worked out great, the sound is aimed pretty much straight at me, and most of the hissing is gone! YAY! and not to mention, i REALLY need to dust!
Damn you all, damn you all to hell.......

I had to do the same thing.. my center was facing out and it needed to face down. I shimmed it at the back with wood, but also used rubber feet to be sure it wouldn't slip. I'd suggest you find something a little more permanent/stable than CD cases. But, pointed in the right direction is certainly a good thing.

Well, mine is also on rubber feet. LOL! The front two feet are catching the top edge of the tv, and the back are on the cds, so i don't think it will slip.Damn you all, damn you all to hell.......

i have my center faceing down i have the standard feet in the front and a set of feet off my surounds in the rear that works great

Try those angled rubber door stops. The rubber will keep it from slipping. Just a thought.
