Has anyone seen this?

1) Overpriced.
2) Looks like Bennic caps.
3) No resistors.

    It's $28, is it really that big of a deal?
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    He isn't saying to eliminate the resistors he is just replacing caps.

    And like Doro said it's $28 bucks is it really worth getting in a huff over??

    I don't think Decato is getting in a "huff" over anything.... just pointing out to other Polkies that may not know better that it is not "top of the line" as the auction states and should probably be avoided. Thats kinda what this forum is for.?.

    I created this thread so that fellow members, especially new ones, might look into all (and better) options before upgrading their classic Polks. Instead of directly saying, "This eBay item is junk," I delicately stated a few facts. I don't care that someone is selling these components for $28. It's up to the buyer to do his or her homework before making the purchase.

    How big of a market can it be out there? I would think most of the vintage Polk owners sooner or later make it here, and find out threads with step by step instructions, and learn that you don't need to pay a premium for components.
