Knowing that most of the computer geeks have access to software on this thread, but If you have something your in need of let me know. I have about 80gigs worth of stuff. If you have an FTP service set up, I am most willing to share with Polk members. Just shoot me an e-mail @ jrausch925@hotmail.com. Everything was scanned with an auto updated anti-virus and everthing works. alot of my stuff was left overs from the Dot-com crash and I won't see any use from it."The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it."

Cingular is a joint venture between Bell South (BLS) and SBC Communications (SBC)... This may be what you were thinking? These 2 seperate companies are the result of the AT&T breakup in the early 80's which are referred to as RBOC's or Regional Bell Operating Companies.
pensacola, good for you because BellSout is a very GOOD Company. If you don't mind??? What will you be doing for Bell?

I hate the sound of the speakers in portable phones! I think it would be a great idea to suggest an audio upgrade. No change in Vocoders necessary... Just in speakers.
Well?
HBomb got his Rooster going.

HBoomToo,
I know about all the splits/mergers and Cingular, I just was not sure if BellSouth was part of SBC. Since I work for SBC, I guess I could have look it up on our internal web page, but thanks for the info. I was also wondering what he will be doing with SBC. Have a great day.

Hbomb & schumach,
I'll be working in a call center. Not exactly what I want to be doing
the rest of my life, but will pay the bills while going through
school for networking services. And it has better pay/benefits
than where I'm at.
My hope is that I could transfer into a more technical-related
position with the company once school is done (end of '03).
I'd also like to eventually make it back to Atlanta, where I lived
for 3 years in the '90s. Since they're based there, I'm hoping
that I could transfer up there at some point.

Pensacola,
Get in good with the managers, that is the only way to move up. Good luck and look me up some time.
