Newbie Frequency setting question

Complete newbie here, but here is my setup.
Receiver: H/K AVR 247
Front: Monitor 50s
Center: CS1
Back: Monitor 30s
Sub: PSW10
My question is, what is the optimal configuration for frequency settings on the AVR. The automatic setting is 40Hz for each speaker, was wondering if there's any other settings that will give the most bang out of the speakers.
Thanks in advance.

I'd play with 60-80Hz and see which sounds best to you, and let the subwoofer handle the rest. Welcome to the boards, and thanks for choosing Polk Audio. Below are links to the education section of the website, and the 'Home Theater Handbook' - a must read for anyone getting started in home theater.
Cheers,
Russ

Newbie Frequency setting question
I usually like to set my Newbies to barely audible, but... oh... it looks like I misunderstood the question...:p
