Saddest: Bridge to Terabithia. Not the type of movie I was expecting and it really caught me off guard. I'm glad I was screening it before watching it with my 5 year-old. Very different movie from the way the previews portrayed it.

A funny movie that's rather underground and only played once in awhile on HBO...

"The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human"
It has Carmen Electra who is unbelievably hot in this movie. It's narrated by David Hyde Pierce in a way that makes it sound like a National Geographic film from an alien planet. It came out originally in 1999 and never really got great reviews but neither has other films that people like. Well, at least I find it rather amusing. :D

Others comedy faves are Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Tommy Boy; Animal House; and hell I can't remember any more off the top. Brain cloud...
Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

This was quite difficult because my taste changes as I get older. Below, I list what comes to mind or what left an impression on me the first time I saw it. Problem is, going back and rewatching say History of the World Part I, it's not as funny anymore.

    For what it's worth...

    Saddest: The Shipping News
Funniest: History of the World Part I
    Scariest: The Shining
Best Action: An old Kung-fu movie I can't remember the name of (sorry)
Best Special Effects: Star Wars when it first came out before the "IV" and Greedo firing first got added (travesty)
Best Super Hero flick: Batmen Begins (X-men if you're talking about consecutive series with the same actors)
    Best Drama: Godfather
Most Romantic: The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) or Sabrina (1995)
    Best Suspense: The Net
    Most Inspirational: Forrest Gump
Most Boring: V. I Warshawski (I walked out)
Best Kids Movie: Toy Story 1 & 2

One of my all-time favorite that didn't make it on the list above: Ordinary People (superb acting by all)

I actually hadn't seen the whole thing until really recently, but it's a great movie, and very sad and touching throughout.

I love the zipper scene. I can relate because it happened to me when I was 4. Mom had to save me. She couldn't stop laughing the whole time. :D

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
