If my Receiver's LFE cutoff is 90hz, am I alright setting my crossover on my sub above that? I have it set at about 100hz.

You are right. The sub should be higher than the receiver. Crank it all the way.Make it Funky!

What kind of sub are you running, what kind of connection to the sub do you have, and does your sub have an LFE (unfiltered) input jack?
