Better Cables Premium III - 16' Bi-Wire Speaker Cable - Bananas - Black - 9/10 - *DONATED* to WCWIII
These are terminated with Rhodium plated bananas and are ready for your bi-wire loudspeakers. It reminds me of Signal Cable in regards to jacketing and overall sound. The terminations are all done @ Better Cables and custom made to order. This cable, brand new is $229 in bi-wire form. Here's some data:
Choice of silver-rhodium spades or banana plugs.
Available in bi-wire configuration (2 conductors on amp side and 4 on the speaker side).
Quad stranded copper conductors.
UL in-wall rating UL1666 Vertical Riser.
C (UL) Flame Test FT4.
Low 33.2 pF/ft capacitance.
Durable, abrasion-resistant outer mesh covering.
Includes: N/A.
Audioquest Type-4 - 10' Speaker Cable - BFA Banana - Blue - 9/10 - *SOLD* to SKsolutions
I've been picking thru my goody box and pulled these out today. They are in excellent condition, no flaws and were originally hand-terminated by Audio Advisor. I don't recall using them at all and they are still in the plastic bag. The current Audioquest model would be the SR-15/4 CI cable.
Don't let the "No Frills" Audioquest fool you, as it is the exact same cable you'll get from Audioquest(Factory Terminated) in that nylon sheath with heat shrink that have the words "Speaker" and "Amp" imprinted on it....for less money. I've never had an issue with anything "No-Frills" from Audio Advisor.....ever. They are factory certified by Audioquest, to install, manufacture and warranty the cable.
This is a 10' pair for the 8' price, including shipping. I hit the ends with some CAIG Pro-Gold, if you even care, and they will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail in a nice, comfortable home.
Includes: N/A
Cardas Crosslink 4 - 12' Speaker Cable - Cardas Bananas - Blue - 9/10 - *SOLD* to Beekyman
Here's another solid set of speaker wires that won't break the bank. They were terminated @ Cardas with Cardas economy bananas. They are TWICE as heavy as the Audioquest and the bananas are Rhodium plated. These are simple upgrades at a low cost compared to the rest of what you spend money on these days. Cardas makes a high quality product and here's some product information:
"Crosslink is our least expensive cable. It is the only Cardas cable sold in bulk, and it can be terminated by a Cardas dealer. It is very flexible and light weight. Multi-gauge, Golden Section, Constant Q conductors are used. Crosslink has flame retardant EEA and cotton for the dielectric, with a PVC jacket, making it CL 2 rated. Crosslink is great for home theater, in-wall, automotive and small home audio systems.
Outside Diameter: .365
Dielectric Type: EEA and Cotton
Q Factor: 10.6
Inductance: .11 uh/ft/loop
Capacitance: 55 pf/ft
Bi Wire Option: Yes
Discrete Conductors: 108
Cable AWG: 10
Conductor Type: Golden Ratio, Constant Q, Crossfield, O.F.C.
Crosslink Termination Costs: No charge for Economy Banana Plugs and Maggy Pins. Check with your Dealer for pricing on other connectors from Cardas and custom terminations."
Cardas Cable Theory and Comments
I hit the ends with some CAIG Pro-Gold, if you even care, and they will be mailed via USPS Priority Mail in a nice, comfortable home.

MIT AVT S2 - 8' Speaker Cable - ICONN - Gray - 9/10 - *SOLD* to SolidSqual
I was hesitant to embrace the AVT line after the Terminator series, since that lineup really hit the mark. The AVT RCA interconnects didn't show enough improvement but the speaker cable is another animal. It's a noticeable improvement over the older Terminator series. I've had these on my Dad's rig for awhile and tend to upgrade him, when I upgrade....so here they are.
The are very flexible and not as difficult to use as the Shotgun and Magnum series. Sonically I think they bring quite a bit to the table in comparison to the other cables in the lineup.
They are in mint condition and the ends have been treated with CAIG Pro-Gold.
Includes: Original everything.
This flea market ad pushes the envelope for he said, he said comments and these are simply my selections, in that order. The MIT brand is what sounded best in my rig originally and the Shotgun series is currently installed therein. The best choice for a simple, cheap upgrade, is the Audioquest Type-4.
Any of these will offer you upgrades and I don't believe I'm breaking the bank here. At some point you'll have to venture into this category, why not do it on the cheap?

haha. Seriously, I'm leaving for Indiana on Wednesday, but if you have these when I get back, I'll pick them up from you. It's a hell of a deal, especially considering I've seen these in 8ft lengths for 3-4x the price you're asking.

How do the MITs compare to Signal Analog IIs. I'm wondering how these will sound on my Emerald Physics Tweeters. IF not the Emmys then I could use them for my new two channel bed room rig that I will be unvailing soon.
Thanks

If you want to compare Analog II's to MIT Shotgun I/C's or MIT AVt I/C's, the Analog II's aren't a bad cable and are a little warmer if you're looking to tone things down, but the MIT's are still a better cable IMO.
I've tried both MIT's and Signal's I/C's and speaker cables, so we don't derail Doro's thread any further, you can PM me if you have any questions."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.
