A detailed description can be found here, but the basic jist of the company is that the simpler the design the better so these are single driver high efficiency speakers. These are made for tube or tripath amps, I powered these with a 8wpc $30 T-amp and was quite impressed with not only the quality but quantity of sound I got out of these.
These speakers are very similar to the Omega Grande 6s which retail for $800/pr. Sound wise they are very unique, they disappear just like my Gallos and are amazing for imaging. These seem to excel when playing simpler music such as jazz and do female vocals exceptionally well. I purchased these for a 4th system that never materialized.
They are in good condition with the only blemish being a small chip in the finish in one corner of one speaker. I painted over it with flat black paint and you can barely notice it unless you are looking for it.
