McIntosh MC2500 and MC2600 would do it. I could use a pair of those.

My soundstream amp will do 1000wpc bridged into 4 ohm.
I was running 4 of them bridged into my carver amazings.

    The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once.

I think they mean 100 watt. If they had a speaker that required 1000 watts, it would not have been cheap, therefore a "cheap" 1000 watt amp won't work anyway.

Overrated power figures are the norm with those.
Hey now, watch it! If you're talking about the Audiobahn, Boss, Jensen, Bazooka, etc crap from BB or CC, then you're right.

But if you walk into a Tweeters or any respectable audio store and look at amps from GOOD manufacturers, ALL the amps are going to be UNDER rated.
