I have a Haier. Not looking to sell it or anything, but you can get that brand for cheap at most appliance stores. I think I got mine at a Service Merchandise (I think they went under) for about $80. Had it for 5 years, still works great.

    Bigaudiofanatic,

I have a Sanyo mini fridge. I spiked the feet to my slab on grade and put dynamat on the compressor housing and the sides. My beer of choice, Miller Lite in a can, now really tastes great and is even more less filling. What surprised me the most is that the canned beer has more of a bottle/glass quality to it that my unmodified mini fridge just could not deliver. It also seems to be that little bit colder, with out freezing, like in a cooler full of ice and ice water.

I may try an aftermarket power cord in the next month or so.

    :D It's a Joke
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Check craigslist. With colleges and universities getting out in the next month or two you'll see tons of these come up for sale....super cheap too.

Must be a Dallas thing. :D I bought one about 6 years ago for my office. It's been at the house now for the last 4 years currently holding brand new refreshed (as in just got back form the liquor store :D ) Red Stripe and Coke's for the new bottles of Captain Morgan.

I have to watch getting anything too close to the little ice maker space or it'll freeze it. Mines just over halfway up on the cold-o-meter-control and it keeps everything as cold as I need it. It's a great little fridge for that $80-$90 price point.

I'd like to find one that does NOT have the ice maker. I don't need that, just space for beverages.

Another Dallas area owner. I have a Haier from Target at the office and a Daewoo from Fry's in the garage. I think I got the Daewoo for about $60. My use seems to be about the same as J_Kennedy and I agree with his comments...especially about the ice maker.

Good advice from Bagged. You could probably get one on the cheap.
