As far as I know it was only common for the previous model's name to end up on the new speaker. If it's labeled an SRS, I'd be guessing it's a set of 1.2s that got the TL upgrade Polk offered for a while.
The serials are a lot lower than my early 1.2TLs, although I don't know if the numbers ran from model to model sequentially. -
You're pretty tactful I see.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Hmm...Thats the exact same town of the guy that came up and bought those 2 pair of 1.2TL's for 1200 bucks a couple months back. Wonder if he sold one pair , pocketed 300 bucks and kept a free pair of 1.2TL's ? Good for him if it was....be nice to be paid 300 bones and get one pair free
The 2 pairs of TL's sold also had 13 screw crossover plates , and the oak top on the front left speaker has grain that matches the picture on Ebay.

Hahaha....they ARE one of the pair he paid 600 bucks for....here is the Serial number in a pic in the original thread .... 5006....ring a bell....the Ebay ad showed the serial number of one of them as 5006...he made a hell of a killing on that deal...free 1.2TL's are nice

Of course, we'll never know what the original buyer paid for them, somewhere between $1200-$1500 for two pairs.........nice work if you can get it.
