well i've had my csi40 running bridged on a 250wpc adcom 555 and i just switched it over to biamped using the left and right outputs on the amp. after switching over i do notice that it isnt quite as bright BUT it is very low volume. i have to bump the gain to +10 on my denon just to reach the same volume as the other 4 speakers. could i have something wrong or does this sound correct? ill break down how i have it connected:
-single IC(kimber cable Hero) outputting from denon 3803 to adcom gfa555
-monster y splitter splitting the IC at the amp into both inputs
-left speaker output going to bottom binding post on rti150s (zingos z cable)
-right speaker output going to top binding post (zingos cables again)
any other info you need?

Hey Adam. I think there may be something wrong with the amp if one channel can feed each of the mains, and one channel can't keep up on the center. Only a few DB offset should be needed for most speakers out there. I checked the specs on your speakers, and your center is just as efficient as your mains. Have you checked on the DVD player that the center has not been attenuated.

Edit
Also did you run a room wizzard before that could have set the level, and the db settings at 0?Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. it is performing the same way on other sources than DVD. i was watching over the air HD and it sounded the same. should i try switching the 555's and see if the other pushes the center alright?
