I have a 12.1 driver setting in the closet and was think about putting it in a sealed box for a crew cab truck. Is this even a good idea for the car audio? If it is what size box would it need? I was thinking a 1 to 1.25 cubic foot box.
Thanks

I believe that driver is optimized for ported boxes but the small sealed box might work fine. The small interior volume of the trucks cab will mean that you will get lots of cabin pressure gain which will serve to boost the lowest frequencies substantially. This means the added bass extension gained from porting the box should be unnecessary.
