was at frys picking up a pair of lsi9 and saw these...micropro 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k
the front firing woofer/maybe passive radiator does not move easily when pushed...are these HT subs? Also, theres no info on polk website.
anyone can chime in about the design and what they are capable of?

CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Year old info...late to market? Too spendy? Underperformed? Fry's had them hmmm....I have no idea.

The MicroPro 3000 is a very nice small sub. The performance will amaze you. Solid bass SQ for music or HT.DKG999

The design is pretty cool actually and the black lacquer looks awesome. I have had the pleasure of test driving the DSW-MP4000 and the front firing woofer is active, the passive awkwardly shaped woofer on the bottom of the sub gives this sub a new dimension. They dig LOW and I'm not sure whether or not they are geared toward HT or audio, but they do hit the frequencies that you would want with both.
They also come with a room adjustment system which you may find useful to take care of a non-anechoic room.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
I've been test driving the DSW-MP3000 sub, and it's a pretty amazing little sub. Digs deep, and the passive radiator on the bottom and the sealed design really helps kick out clean good sounding bass. I found it to be very musical, yet had the depth and output for HT.DKG999
