    Over my dead body...

Plus, it's really not all that fun going up and coming down. I don't think I want to experience all those high g's.

Ok, I said no, but I probably would. Assuming, of course, I could buy some more gear and music to replace it.

What's the timeframe? Are you talking about my current collection?

    Or.

Are you talking about giving up home theatre, stereo, DVD's, CD's, music files, car players, and all portable music players forever in addition to being banned from listening to the radio and going to concerts/movie theatres forever?

What I had in mind was everything you currently have including home theatre, stereo, DVD's, CD's, music files, car players, and all portable music players and everything else you didn't mention :)

In the future you could do anything you want (after you walk on the moon).

Standing on the moon and looking at the earth would be one of the coolest experiences I can think of, well worth it.

So am I to assume the value of my eq will be the total cost of the trip for me?

If so, I'd do without a second thought.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

No, I don't think so. I'm sure it would be a stunning experience, but for something so fleeting I can't see giving up gear that could provide musical enjoyment for the next 50 years. Especially since I'd never be able to afford it all like this.

Then I would have to give a resounding "Hell Yes". For now, I'm just hoping space flight will be available and affordable for regular folks in my lifetime much less step on lunar soil.

No, there's nothing on the moon worth walking after. No good tail there.

Yeah, on two conditions. I get to take a bottle of Beam and ride around on that 'big dog' thing in the other thread.

Plus I've always wondered what it would be like to aim my **** in the air and launch a **** into space.

Basic same result here http://www.gozerog.com/ , but I think the other passengers might not respond well to the extra floater in the cabin. :D
