Been studying for Physics E&M, midterms are coming up soon and I'm sick of studying. Somebody please tell me it's worth it.

I need sleep...

Plus I missed my first midterm due to having a virus/flu, so I've got to do good on this one.

I agree, you should drop out immediately.

I have 100+ college credits and never needed them.

    Definitely not worth it.

Tomorrow is my do or die day. Class from 7:15 till 3:30 nonstop(4 classes, back to back to back to back), meeting from 330-5, meeting from 5-7. then meeting from 7 till 9:30, then a nice 45 minute drive home.

The question is whether you need that class for your major?

Yup, all engineering majors have to take that class...

IMHO, yes! If I had the discipline to sit thru 4 years of math, then the 5 years to get the P.E. lic., I'd probably be clearing 6 figures.
As it is, I ALMOST made 1/2 of that last year.:o

i'm with you appadv. I've got a Diff Eq test to fail tomorrow, then a solids test the days after. I'll be lucky to clear 60% on both of the tests :(

College sucks. Yes, I said it. Bite me.

I'm taking that too...in previous years 30-40% of the class failed, so I guess it must be really difficult or the professors at my school like to keep the coursework intense ;)

It's worth it if you stick to your engineering path.
Not worth it if you end up deciding on a completely different career path, later on.

That has been the trend lately...hasn't it? Seems like most people major in something then work in a totally different field. Hell, I already started doing that and I haven't even graduated yet.

Hang in there if it is always what you wanted to do. My best friend back from Jr. High is a Mechanical Engineer. We went to the same community college and he then went on to finish his BS away from home. During his last 2 years, he basically had no life. He said that he slept, went to classes and studied. It was intense but he finished it. He hopped around to many different firms over the last 10 years. Many went out of business as manufacturing continues to move overseas. He just took a new job out of state as his current company is in bad shape. But took a nice raise also.
