Have a chance to pick these up. But they are white and all my set up is black.

They would be for my home theater currently under construction in the basement.

Should I jump on them? about 140 for the pair.

are they used or new? That is about half the price of any new set I have seen lately. How bad do you want black? This is up to you to decide. What color are your walls going to be?

Are you going to hang them on a (white) wall? If so, the white might be better... As for the price. Amazon sent me an email with that price a week or so ago. Out of curiousity I've been watching the price and I haven't found it lower anyway. Wish I has the room for them.

Watch eBay also. Polk is dumping them there, and they are starting to get cheap now. Just don't get caught up and bid high. :D

The white are really, white grills, more of a cream of light beige box. The box matches "standard" builder painted biege/cream/eggshell colored home walls. Plus they are paintable if you'd go to that trouble.

The are bipole/dipole loudspeakers os they can be mounted in either position. You can have them in either configuration since it's based on your listening enviroment.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
