That McIntosh is over 2K and climbing. Buyer protection up to 200. That just sucks.

If people are that stupid to bid they should lose their money.

    I missed it, what happened?
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

.....not sure how the scam works.....but i think they want the buyer to contact them and use the "Buy it Now" price......so the deal is closed before the auction ends OR gets ENDED....who knows what he told those that emailed him. Plus they got the email address of the those that replied, to put with their ebay id....for future fraud.

....would of loved those Wilson Witt Puppies for $99 with the Mac amp

They stand out as scams. Often, the seller has never listed anything
or bought anything electronic. It's always a big ticket CJ, Mac, Etc.
with a short 1 day auction and a request for direct email, even though
previously, the seller didn't use a separate email address.
I'm sure they use this to get your email for spam too, the ****.
And they list 20 items at once. It takes about 2 minutes to spot one.
I always ask about local pick-up, even on non local items. The scamsters
rarely say yes. They want to pocket the shipping costs, too.
If it's in London, BIG RED FLAG!
Strangely enough, DACS are often listed as buy it now from China and
Hong Kong, so this rule does have exceptions. Bottom line, if it's to good to
be true it is. I seldom bid on anything not local anymore.
