My list (based on the movies that I have and use to demo the bass in my system - in no particular order):
- War of the Worlds (DTS - Pod Emerging)
- Saving Private Ryan (DTS - Beach Landing)
- Jurassic Park (DTS - Trex stomps not that great, but the roars after it breaks out of its cage are pretty good)
- Jurassic Park III (DTS - Dino Fight)
- Transformers (final battle in the city)
- House of flying Daggers (echo dance is good surround and bass)
- Master and Commander (DTS - chapter 4, 1st sea battle)
- The incredibles - (almost pick a scene)
- Toy Story 2 - (entire first couple chapters, game sequence)
- Finding Nemo - (Darla)
- The Matrix - (lobby shootout through helicopter crashing into the building)
- Lord of the Rings, FotR - (DTS - mines of Moria)
- Lord of the Rings, TT - (DTS - battle of/for Rohan)
- Lord of the Rings, RotK - (DTS - Oliphant charge)
Most of these should give your new sub an excellent workout - we expect a review when you are done...
