Selling my RB-991. Just came back from the OHficial Rotel service center, so it's all checked out and ready to go. They put a few more scratches on top for me. I'll let the buyer fix it (the guys at Audio Concepts said they just pull the top cover, and lightly shoot it with a can of flat black when they have this happen).
In case you don't know the story, this was a Euro model. I bought it, got the tech manual, and moved the jumpers in the innards, which was a simple job. It worked just great until I crossed the speaker wires. That introduced a loud hum, so I sent it in last freaking October.
Rotel says that it got placed on a tech's table, and buried under other stuff, so they kinda forgot about it. I finally got it back yesterday, with Rotel's apologies (I'm still out $173, though).
Please, someone local take this thing, as it could be a ship's anchor. I'll ship it to the lower 48 for another $60.
