OK I am addicted to Ebay, but my computer is sick of it, I think. I have zero problems surfing on every site on the WWW except Ebay. My computer just sits here stalled when I try looking up stuff, WTF?? this has been going off and on for a while now, any help would be appreciated.

Let's say I have done a search for Polk, and it happens to come up, if I click an auction it just sits here doing nothing, I hit any other site and bam I am there, this is really getting to me.
Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
Outlaw ICBM - crossover
Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

Try clearing out your history folder .. and emptying your Temp internet folder. That may help. If you've racked up a bunch of old ebay pages, the computer may be going through the old ones trying to match.

It is possible your computer has Gonorrhebay, an electronically transmitted virus caused by gonococcal bacteria that affects the mucous membrane chiefly of the hard drive and supporting hardware and is characterized by an acute purulent discharge and painful or difficult insertion of disks, though women often have no symptoms.

I have a really fast computer and internet connection an I can tell you that E-bay's computers are really getting taxed this year by folks looking for Christmas bargains. I have the same problems of slow web pages or pages that won't load at all. This makes using those last minute power bids a **** to complete, so just keep in mind, this is the holiday season.

    MX,

He means that XP isn't smart enough to clear the files itself when they get full.
