A few months ago, I was searching for some good, used LSi7s in Ebony. The only ones I could find for a decent price were on CL New Orleans. Not being too far away from Dallas, I contacted the seller to see if he would ship. No luck.
I then did search on Polk Forum and PM'd a few members listing NO as home. RCS, who isn't on the boards too often, responded and came through in a huge way.
MAJOR props to RCS who picked up the speakers for me in New Orleans, watched over them like a nurturing care-taker for 3+ months, and even delivered them to my hotel when I was in town for business. Wouldn't even accept my offer of some cash for gas money, etc.
Thanks again to RCS for all your help and to Polk Forum for bringing so many of us audio addicts under one site. The LSi7s look great, sound better, and were very reasonably priced. Bedroom setup is quickly becoming one of my favorites with the recent additions of a DAC, new speaker cables, new ICs, the LSi7s, and a SVS pb10 sub.
