CD Name Help

Has anybody heard of a group called DeoDoto or DiaDoto or something like that?

I think it might be mainly instrumental from the early eighties probably.

My dad turns me onto a lot of weird but great sounding music. I just can't figure out how to spell the name to do a search for it.

    Don't remember them being instrumental, but how about Dido?

    Andreas Vollenweider is another good instrumental guy/group.

    The only one I have is White Winds, 1984

    I don't even know if he's still around/recording.

    Dido as in white flag Dido? The one thats had a song with Eminem?

    If so no.

    It also wouldn't classical or jazz.

    He listened to stuff like haircut 100 abd the Talking heads

    He said it sounded a little like haircut 100 but only acoustical?

    He said the name sounded something like Dia Da-Toe

    Eumir Deodato (born on 22 June 1943 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Grammy Award-winning Brazilian musician, producer and arranger primarily based in the jazz realm but who historically has been known for eclectic melding of big band and combo jazz with varied elements of rock/pop, R&B/funk, Brazilian/Latin, and symphonic or orchestral music. [1] Mainly, his records can be categorized as pop jazz or crossover jazz. His successes as an original artist (keyboards) occurred mainly in the 1970s. Since then, he has produced more than 500 albums for acts ranging from Kool and the Gang to Björk and k.d. lang.

    I never heard of Diadato but have heard of Didato. Rock group from the 90's. They had a few instrumentals. The album name is something like soarin or coolin something in.
