How can we tell if a movie has been shot with a HD camera? Is there any way to tell or will there be?

Look at the tonight show in broadcast HD, then look at your average movie in HD. Even though the bandwidth for the TV broadcast is less than what a blu-ray is capable of, the tonight show will still compare well.
A film that I've read that was shot with HD cameras is Flyboys. This is another that you may try a comparison with.
However, they digitally remaster movies very well that were shot on film instead of digital HD cameras. The original film almost certainly has greater resolution than what's found on an average dvd. I'm not sure why you would want to try and find some telling difference between the two formats, but maybe if you do enough comparisons, you can tell us...
