Should be out in late 2008. I've heard the series might be on HBO.

How would they carry on? Good defeated evil, Darth Vader and the Emperor are dead. What do you want, a two hour love fest with the Ewoks? Don't answer that.

No, there is a Sith somewhere because if Luke Skywalker is the only Jedi, and there are no Sith, there is no balance to the force.

It'd be cool to see a continuation of the Star Wars series.

There's dozens of books out there, when do they take place? I always assumed there were plotlines that followed ROTJ.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

There are dozens and dozens of novels out there that take place at various points before, during and after the six movies.

Go here to find them and where they fall in the timeline....

I've read 4 of these novels. The Thrawn Trilogy which takes place after ROTJ and Shadows of the Empire. Thrawn Trilogy was very good. Shadows was excellant! All 4 books are worth the read if you're into it.

Also, somehow I don't really want to see Princess Leia in the Gold Bikini now. Just won't be even close to the same as back in 1984!

Because George is still making bajillions off of the recycled crap and has not had a creative thought since 1982.

I guess you don't really care then that there is another Indiana Jones movie coming out and Lucas wrote that too?

I actually wouldnt mind if they came out with a new movie to fit between Episode 2 and 3. I love these flicks and especially Ep 1-3 so they can make 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and so on for all I care . Ill buy a ticket (well so long as theyve got the same cast.)

I want somebody to redo 1-3 like what they did to Batman and Superman. Consider the first run through as a rehearsal. Discard the scripts and rewrite a new one. Kick Lucas back to Executive Producer and ban Lucas, Ron Moore, and Rick Berman from coming within 2 states of the filming and production. Anybody who even whispers anything about writing the story for a ten year old boy is automatically fired.

Bring back the modeling that made 4-6 so popular and then wrap CGI around it instead of shooting pure CGI.

Dare I say bring in Pixar? Can they make a serious Sci-Fi flick? Team them up with Industrial Light and Magic?

Lucas can ride Speilberg's coat tails all he wants. Just look at any of the Indy movies and you can see it was all speilberg. If Georgie had his way, there would have been an ewok **** in Raiders...

Yeah. Im one of the biggest Star Wars fans here. The Clone Wars cartoons were enough. No "need" to spend more time on this, when there is plenty of info in the Expanded Universe collection to make great side stories. Also, after playing, NOTOR (I & II), Jedi Outcast and all my other favorite gazillion SW games on Xbox, there lies more infinite info on additional movie/series.

He wrote the story, not the actual screenplay.
