I know I'm late to the party with this one, but what an incredible sounding SACD! Not only is the music fantastic, but the sound quality is fantastic. My other experience with Alison Krauss is the MFSL Live album, which also sounds incredible. Too bad that its so difficult to find her other SACD's. If anyone knows where I can find "new favorite" SACD for less than an arm and leg, please let me know.

Good luck! I don't think the "Rounder " label supports SACD anymore. I wish she would have done "So Long, So Wrong" on SACD. I think that I have all of her SACD releases.Carl

carl,
I believe I have So Long on SACD. oops I just checked at I was thinking of Now that I Found You, no luck on So Long for SACD. New Favorite and 100 miles or more are very nice redbook as well.
AK is a National Treasure.

Over 700 in 2007 -
There were six SACD waiting for me when I hit the door two days ago, all nice stuff, I waited a long time to order Tapestry (MD only had two left), the first track has some tape noise and the sonics are not great but after that it really improves, anyway, it was sleeper that will hit some good rotation time in the Shed. The guy at MD said they were still ordering and receiving SACD from the plant in Terre Haute, I thought it was closed for SACD but he said NO.
AK still one of my fav's and getting lots of play time. This lady is making her mark and I think she is going to be huge in the industry as a crossover type artist.

I am another one that really enjoys AK's music. I own several SACD's by her and really like AK & Union Station Live. Keep an eye on ebay and you can get some good deals.Michael

I don't have SACD, but all of her redbook CD's that I have are exceptionally good sounding discs. Worth checking out, even if her music isn't your cup of tea. The sound quality turned me into a fan. Good SDA material, too.

I agree with the comments on SAD's just bought a new AudioAnalogue Meastro 196/24 CD/SACD player and ordered a pile of discs from Amazon so far only the Famous Blue Raincoat by Jennifer Warnes has arrived the 20th Anniversery edition well worth a listen.
Also have a stack of Billy Joel's early stuff also in SACD coming delivery is long and drawn out unfortunately but never mind.
