Does Pacino really warrant excitement anymore? The guy is a shell of his former self. Most of his movies seem like a parody of what Pacino should be.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Oceans 13 was a horrible performance by him, he needs to do a lot better than that.

Yup! for my money, his former self is exponentially superior to todays so called actors.

Looks like a yawner to me.

Boxers, politicians and actors -- there should be a mandatory retirement age.

Like you said, his former self. Look at the past dozen movies he's done, there aren't too many good performances in there. Even the Devil's Advocate, which is a really fun movie... his character was cartoonish.

It doesn't appear to be as good as HEAT is (love that film), I'll give it watch when it hits video.

Scent of a Woman is his best work, period. Now De Niro is just a badass, I'll watch anything he does.

"Angels in America" was some of his finest work.

Pachino's past few years may not have been his best, but I'll still watch anything he does.

I thought he did well in Devil's Advocate, towards the end with the speech he gives to Reeve's in the office when he is trying to get him and his sister to do funky things with eachother, was great. His worst is better than most actor's best.

Yea, I definitely want to see it. Looks good and with the Stone's music it's gonna sound good too.

When youre talking actors the caliber of Pacino and DeNiro and when you think of all the COUNTLESS awesome, standard setting performances theyve given us over the years - IMO theyve earned the benefit of the doubt and Ill always give their work a chance.

Anymore? The guy was never a really great actor, average at best. DeNiro is great though, has been and still is.

LMAO, but Heat in my book is still one of the better films ever made. I still get chills watching the Diner and gun fight scene. And the cinematography was just top notch.

Oh and back on target, if they are both in a film together you can count on me watching it.

Agreed. Not much depth to Pacino. He reminds me of one note bass that's flat to 28 Hz.

DeNiro is great. He can even pull off comedy. I watched Analyze This the other day and DeNiro was funnier than comedian Billy Crystal.
