Looking for some World Music

Anybody have good suggestions?
I'm looking for something that that is 100% acousitc intruments, accompanied by nice soothing female vocals.
I need something that brings the atmosphere and culture of that region. Something that makes the listener feels like he/she is in a different country. I want something traditional. I like the latin vibe. I know it's hard to explain but I listen to Dulce Pontes and her music is excellent in communicating the culture and feel.
Thanks

You might want to check out Carla Bruni - Quelqu'un M'a Dit, a french singer / super model which I listen to on and off.
For some excellent instrumental stuff, Rodrigo y Gabriela are hard to beat. Definitely with a Latin rhythm.
If you're interested in either, PM me and I'll send you a sample and see if it's what interests you.Lovin that music year after year.

Talking about instrumentals, I just discovered Jesse Cook and love the music. I really like Kitaro as well.
I'll definitely check them out. My taste in music is expanding and it's wonderful to discover new music. I love instrumentals with latin feel.
Thanks again -
Very sexy Brazilian jazz and vocals.
