Hey guys and gals,

I am putting a new sound system in my boat and am looking for an amp. I will be getting a marine amp, but I am confused as to what power ratings would be good for my system. I am installing 4 of the Db6501's in the boat and that is all, no subs. My cd receiver is a sony and has pre-amp outputs. I want the speakers to sound really good, but the power ratings are really confusing for a newbie. Any help would be much appreciated. Oh and what brands do you recommend? Thanks in advance for any help.

Something in the 75-100x4 RMS would be about right.

Thank you very much for the reply. I found a 100 x 4 RMS amp. I'll let you know how it goes
