$650 shipped, CONUS PM me.
No power cord included. I'm rich in gear but poor in PC's - down to a mix of standard 14 and 16 awg cords; they do the job just fine but I'm at a shortage for my needs.
This beautiful amp is a solid headphone amp and preamplifier in one. Solid state, and runs in pure class A as per standard Sugden philosophy. IIRC, it was Stereophile class B rated as a preamp, and class A as a headphone amp (not that I give any weight to their fairly ignorant headphone ratings; it's a fine amp nonetheless). Three inputs switchable via a knob. Volume control is via a motorized Alps Blue Velvet pot, 100K input impedance - can be adjusted manually, or via the handy remote control (GREAT feature when used as a preamp).
Along with the Headamp Gilmore-based amps (V2, V2se), this my favorite of the SS headphone amps I've heard (and I've heard a lot). I prefer it to both the Ray Samuels HR-2 (sold mine long ago) and the Headroom Max (2001 and 2004 models).
As a preamp, I much preferred the Sugden over the PS Audio PCA-2 (sold mine long ago), even with the PCA-2 running in balanced mode (driven balanced from a Meridian G08 and via XLR into the matching PS Audio PCA-2 power amp) and the Sugden single-ended!
This amp has stayed here an eternity relative to my other gear, over 2.5 years. It's been hard to let go of. I'm selling because I now own 3 truly world class, $2K+ headphone amps: the Eddie-Current Zana Deux, a Singlepower SDS, and a Singlepower Supra SE. I need to sell my "fourth string" headphone amp to keep things from getting too damn crazy here.

Which version of the headmaster is this? Hasn't the headmaster gone through a couple of different versions?

Thanks for the bumps, guys
All my indoor gear pics are taken with the aid of a tripod, long shutter speeds, 2-second self timer, and custom white balance. Two standard (cheap) torch lamps.
furball, as far as I know there were only two versions, but I could be wrong. This is the latter of those 2 versions - the first version had no remote capabilities and cost a bit less. If there was a third version after that, then this isn't it.
Keep in mind, that since the dollar is like a dozen to each British pound (well not really but sure seems that way) these days, Sugden gear costs a lot more to buy new.Tannoy Dimension TD10, SOTA Star Sapphire, Heathkit W4A's, McIntosh MC2100, Eddie-Current Zana Deux, Singlepower SDS, Sennheiser HD650, Audio-Technica L3000, Sony Qualia 010 -
I could really use a new headphone amp.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

It's been 2 months since your post. Do you still have this for sale?
