What stands do you use?

I'm curious what speaker stands people are using for their bookshelf speakers. I made a pair several years ago that I was only going to use for a couple months, well 3 years later they're still here. I've decided to buy the LSi 9's and I'm afraid my makeshift, and rather ugly stands, must go. So what do you use?

didnt make the dresser but i designed the shelf...they work well -- especially if its like a on the wall corner shelf, leaves the speakers alot of room to move and dont take up floor spaceDamn you all, damn you all to hell.......

Sanus Steel Foundations 28" filled w/lead shot. Looking at their site, they say they have 26 & 30 inchers, but I'm pretty sure mine are 28, so maybe they no longer make 28.
Just for the heck of it, try

They look interesting to me, esp the ones that are low to the floor & tilt upwards. My father had his Polk 5JR's (or JR5's ?) on stands w/a similar design, but for some reason you don't see that much anymore.Testing

I'm with Shannon, Sanus Natural Foundations. I really recommend these stands. I had my pops get some for his (mine) PSB Alpha Bs. They fit the 9s purrrfect!

Sanus Natural Foundations. Nice stands and they look good too."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Only thing that I did to my Sanus is I didn't use the brass pegs I uses the soft rubber feet that came with my LSi speakers. I did this to keep from Scratching the bottom of the Speakers. But then again I'm overly conches about things like that.50" Samsung Plasma

I use Wood Technology stands for my Monitor 7Cs (stands came from Crutchfield about 15 years ago). They don't hold sand or anything, but my 7s are so heavy, they do a good job of settling everything down. Plus, the stands are spiked and sitting on a cement floor with thin carpet. The stand/speaker combination is solid.
I'm using a pair that is about 20-22" tall right now to get the tweeters up to ear/TV level, and they are tilted back just a bit. I have a pair that is about 14" tall with a slight tilt built in that I used to use with the 7s before children and home theater.
Speaker stands are a snap to build if you've a few basic tools. You can do the height/style you want. -
I've got the Wood Technology 31" in black wood for my rears had them over a year with no complaints. Got them at crutchfield too.JmasterJ Polk to the Death
