    All the schmucks that are waiting better get in quick ... the first round games start in 1.5 hours. I'm just hoping I can take a long lunch to wait the first round KU game ... anyone else going to be taking a long lunch?

    I like to wait until at least Wednesday night to get the latest updates on injuries, etc. I made some last minute changes before work this morning and stuck with them. GO BRUINS!!!

    Really haven't been any upsets yet. UNLV surprised me though. They DOMINATED Kent State.

    My office pool at work is gonna be better than this one I fear. I picked KState to the Elite Eight at work. And Duke losing in the second. Man...

    I had Kent winning but losing in round 2.

    OMG, Duke and the horseshoe up their ****! I have them going to the Elite 8. Not gonna happen when they barely squeak by against a #15 team! Ya never know though.

    Ya Duke will make an early exit this year... In the tourny for big money, I have them losing Rd2. Hope that I'm right. I could use the bigscreen TV up for grabs... :0

    Ok, lots of damage done, but for most of us, the upsets hurt us all equally. I'm behind because I picked upsets that didn't happen. For my office, money pool, I need Wisco and Louisville to play well and win their next couple games. In both, I need UCLA to run the table. Slim chance to pull it out in both.

    Looks like I put the glass slipper on the foot of the ugly stepsister... I got one Sweet Sixteen team right in the West and Midwest Brackets, and half my Final Four is gone. Man! Duke and Georgetown didn't sound that bad when I was filling it out!

    I've got Tenn into the E8, but man they're hard to root for! They are just so frenetic and careless with the ball.

    I've still got 7 of 8 teams alive for the E8. I filled out a pool for work and thought it was the same as my CP one, but I had Xavier in that one and not here!

    SHould be a great couple of games today...nervously awaiting the posting of Shack's perfect notarized copy of his bracket to be posted and his claim of being the true 2008 champion........I sure hope Memphis doesn't make it out of the weekend. Anyway enjoy the games.

    Man, have you ever seen a worse officiating Elite Eight game ever?!? KU was robbed, even with them playing their worst game in forever. How many blatant fouls, pushes, trips and non-calls where there?!? Ugh...

    Oh well. All #1's in the Final Four. Impressive. I guess the table is set for a fantastic weekend eh?

    I was also very unhappy with the officiating in both the KU vs. Davidson game and the Texas vs. Memphis game. In the Texas game, they pretty much let both teams play as physical as they wanted until about 6mins left. Absolutely played into Memphis' hands and Texas never stood a chance (never mind the fact that Texas was shooting like they were a 3rd grade girls basketball team). Don't get me wrong ... Memphis played very well and deserved the win, but it should have been a much closer game considering the fact that Memphis cannot shoot free throws worth a darn.

    I have high hopes for the Jayhawks vs. Roy's boys ... it will definitely be a good game!

    Oh yeah, I know that I'm out of the running for the Club Polk challenge and I haven't checked to see who is in the lead now. Whoever picked Memphis as the champs better hope that the officials continue their "let's just let them keep playing until we see blood" approach.
