    My whole family's from there, so it's tough to "get away". But you're right, it's horrid. These days though it's about as ghetto as you can get. Barely a step up from Dorchester / Mattapan at this point. And having the most corrupt police force in the state doesn't help at all.

    Then again, Lynn does have that rhyme about it....

    The old man was in the Marines and off to Nam 3 times and a few other things after the war was over. We moved a ton of times. Sometimes with him at home, sometimes when he was gone. I never went to the same school twice until the 7th grade. Sometimes didn't even make it through a full school year. Funny thing is there were no bases where we lived. I never lived on post is what I mean.
