Hey guys,
This is not audio related but I would appreciate the help if anyone knows where I could find one or two of these.

It is off of a 1998 4WD blazer and I need one bad!

Thanks,
madmax

Call the local scrap yards and ask them to use there "parts locator." Around here most if not all the junk yards are linked to others in and around the state and can often find parts in a matter of minutes. Worth a phone call or two.

Also, try custom wheel shops. A lot of times people will upgrade the factory rims, and leave them for partial credit.

Try Autotrader.com, lots of factory rims. Good call on the pick-u-part Frank.

    Cheers,

    Joe,
Now I know I need a "GF-79" so the site was useful. As far as finding one I'm looking on the cheap for a used one.

Funny story here. I wanted an extra set of rims to mount snow tires on. I looked around and couldn't find anything I could afford. Suddenly it hits me, check ebay. There they were, exactly what I was looking for. Right size, yup. Right style, yup. Fits a 99 blazer, yup. In good condition, yup. Time left: 21 seconds. Holy ****, can I type that fast? Yup. Won the auction... For three rims!!! Didn't see that part! As Homer Simpson says: Dough!!!

    Chuck,

Good story, glad you found some.
I've got one question, if you have a 4wd Blazer why would you want to use just two snow tires? Just curious.
BTW, on 4wd vehicles, it's very important that all four tires are the same size, otherwise you can really mess up the drivetrain.

That was the point. I needed 4 of them, didn't have time enough to completly read the add and ended up winning 3 of them. That is why I need one more! I'm guessing you read "set" as 2 but I meant 4.

Yep, that's how I read it. Try Brandywine used truck parts, in the yellow pages. Good luck.
