Searched for this but had no luck ... even Googled.
What is the crossover frequency of a Monitor 10? Stock with SL2000?

80 Hz?
j/k -
I wanna say 3000 Hz, but don't quote me on that. I know there's a small section of overlap.

I believe it has two 12uf caps in series in the HF circuit, so it would appear to be around 1200hz."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Wow .. I was guessing it would have been somewhere between 1500-2500Hz ! -
That does sound low to me too. I could be wrong, but according to the caps in the crossover and it being a 4ohm speaker, that's what it appears to be."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

+1
8ohm with 12uF is ~1200hz
And trust me, if you would see the specs of the MW's you wouldnt want to pass them any higher than 1200hzMonitor 7b's front

Two 12 uF caps in series = 6 uF .
4 ohm will crossover at a higher freq than 8 ohm with the same components.
I'm at work so can't double check the actual freq, but if you can link a schematic, I'll do it later. -

Misread previous quote. The first cap is a bypass cap, not a series cap. So the HP is a second order with 1, 12uF cap.

I briefly looked at the Monitor 10 crossover: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38755
1200 Hz sounds about right but it's one of those designs that's best tested instead of measured.
That poor tweeter. -
