dipiazza - It depends on what you need it for. If you are using it in a car or over a very short distance you can buy almost any cheap one (check Amazon to see what gets good reviews). The one from C.Crane I bought because it has the longest range (which isn't all that impressive) and has an AC adapter. I use it to play my Sirius radio over the internet to my stereo system in the other room.

Try (don't laugh) inductively coupling a better antenna to it. My son got me one (the kind that fits into the cigarette lighter socket and cradles an iPOD) for a Christmas present year before last. We were both disappointed by the signal strength. I told him to try wrapping a piece of wire around it. All he had was his headphones. To his surprise (and my delight) it strengthened the signal considerably.
Get a piece of stiff wire (cast-off house single conductor house wiring is great), wrap around at least once to hold the 'antenna' in place (and to inductively couple it to the transmitter's antenna). Let the rest of the wire stick up like an antenna (like?). Experiment with the length of the wire and number of coil turns to tune the antenna.
You just might be surprised. -
FWIW, be careful of the ones which have a battery back up, I bought one from Belkin, left it in the car, thenone day I go to use it, yes it still worked but the batt. acide leaked and ate the LCD so there is no way to tell what station it's on.
