NHL 2000 was the funnest hockey game ever made, I think it was only for playstation 1. The next best is NHL 08 which is pretty awesome and is for 360 and PS3.

I think I played 2000 before. That was the one where if you really did the fighting right you could drop the other player and blood would appear on the ice in the most unrealistic but fantastically fun way possible. Is there good fighting in NHL 08?

I don't remember any blood in NHL 2000 but you could body check people while they were in midair from a previous check, starting a glitch that made them fly for about 10 seconds, bouncing off the boards as they flew.

I’ve never been in a fight in NHL 08. I don't think there is any fighting. But the game is great, very realistic and good controls. It’s not as over the top as the old games were.

No way. If you want to back that far its got to be Ice Hockey. Before every game you could choose 4 guys, skinny, medium or fat. I loved skating around with a team of fat guys bulldozing anything that got in my way. lol

Okay I picked up NHL 07 new for 22 bucks. That is one sweet game, although I am not great at it so far. I do manage to keep getting into fights but always get caught for the hook on my poke check. All in all, great graphics and a real fun game.

NHL 07 was pretty good but NHL 08 is a lot better. They improved the skating a lot. once your bored of NHL 07 you should upgrade to 08. You won't regret it!
