Yeppers. Not only different drivers and tweets, but the positioning of the drivers are not
opposing lay outs for a left and right speaker.

Aren't they both the same side speaker [R-hand] as well?

The one on the left is a TL left, The one on the right is reg. 2.3 right. The arrangement
of the speakers should mirror each other when looking at a matching set.

What I should say is 2.3 TL has the "two" drivers on the outside and 2.3 has the "two" drivers on the inside. Now I getting confused. Someone check me on this.

Even a non-technical person could see the difference between those two speakers...what was he thinking ? The real question is who got screwed from the other two mismatched pair that morphed off of these ?

He just updated the listing with the truth about it. I emailed him and he replied, too. I'll give him credit for that part anyway.

The tl is a left and the non tl is a right. Which is probably why they are together. May have bought them from a dealer and someone mixed in an older non with a new tl not realising the difference in the driver's or driver configuration.

If I remember right the non tl's have the two driver's to the center, while the tl's are opposite, they have the 4 drivers to the center. I would bet it was a mix up from the place he bought em, as those are left and right speakers, just different series.

    Not quite.

The 2.3TL's have 4 stereo drivers on the inside, 2 dimensional drivers on the outside.

The 2.3's have 2 stereo drivers on the inside, 2 dimensional drivers and 2 (top & bottom) sub-bass drivers on the outside.

I see these are in Indianapolis. I wonder if wangotango has the other matching 2.3 and 2.3TL. This probably started out as a practical joke that went too far.

You guys just don't have any imagination.

Fry's had a clearance sale a little while back on left Lsi25's.

Now if you take a left Lsi25, and the right regular 2.3 from this auction, hook one up with cable and the other up with stranded Monster wire, than
    you'll really have ....... uhm ...... something.

Seriously, if somebody local had the spare cash/space, it would be tempting.
