    IF those specs are right, that thing is a piece of PVC that is 14'6" L x 17" Diameter, and weighs 63 lbs.??? And it can't be a typo, because the metric measurements are the same?
    Where the 'F' would you put it?!

    150" = 12.5 feet long

    Still beyond awkward.

    Doh! I still don't understand the potential application? House or auditorium?

    Dropped ceiling, auditorium, or massive amounts of crack consumption.

    Not something I'd really consider. There are many other subs that could give better low frequency performance.

    Bose in a thread title:eek:
    BANISHMENT!

    I thought Bose was the miracle workers that made big full sound from little tiny cute things:confused:
    118db max?
    12 feet+ ?
    No +/- db specs ?
    I, and many others have built sonosubs smaller, and much better than that:rolleyes:
    118db max at what frequency?
    Yuck Phoo

    They are/were most commonly used in movie theaters. Years ago Audio magazine had an article on how to use 36 PVC elbows and a 4" Radio Shack woofer. The elbows made it look like a giant corkscrew.
