I'm feeling pretty good about my stereo room at this point.

I have a friend who owns Shahinians. You couldn't pry them out of his hands, but I'll bet he doesn't listen to those while he's got something else wailing away. Maybe he will drop in here and comment.

Your CRS's would sound a lot better with proper placement......but I have the feeling you know that already and just go for looks

I'm wondering where the 30 cats, 14 dogs, 12 birds and 1 iguana are being kept.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have a friend who owns Shahinians.

I don't see him dropping in HERE, so I assume it's not who I am thinking of, so you actually have TWO friends that own Shahinians - Thatcher has a pair, has had them as I long as I've known him and then some. I think he's planning on being buried with them.

    Cheers,
    Russ

That room set-up is an LSD trip!! I remember hearing about those speakers way back when.......looks interesting. If one stops by to listen, do we get a complimentary toke!!!!?

....many years of collecting. the Obelisk shine for Classical, jazz and Accoustic. The SDA's are for "OLDIES" and Rock and Roll....lot of 60's. When in use the SDA"S are moved to head on position.
Best part of the Obelisk are the 4 super tweeters in each cabinet....N_S_E_W....for old ears its a treat.....also great for active listening.....sound fills the room.

    Wonderful speakers, still being made.
Here's the first page of a brochure I picked up in 1976 or 77.

I wonder if that picture was just put like that for the sake of taking the picture. Surely no one could live in a house like that.
